Who is Patrick White?
Patrick White is one of Australia’s most accomplished writers and an avid supporter of the advancement of Indigenous Australian youth. He was the first Australian writer to receive a Nobel Prize for Literature.
What the Awards do
The Awards have been designed to encourage Indigenous Australian students in NSW to use their reading, writing, and creative skills.
Applications
Applications close at the end of September each year and are open to NSW Indigenous Australian students from Kindergarten through to Year 12.
