Please note: In 2013 the AEC intends to offer a Post Graduate Scholarship in the name of Alan Duncan a founder of the AEC.
Applications and criteria for this scholarship will be available by the end of June 2013.
Female applicants are encouraged to apply for Margaret Ida Howie Awards.
The AEC in collaboration with Industry Partners aims to encourage NSW Indigenous Australian students to undertake tertiary studies in a NSW University. With this aim in mind, in 2008 the AEC moved into a new era by awarding Tertiary Scholarships for the duration of each degree, for a maximum of four years. Each recipient now receives $5000 each year for study related costs.
The AEC has also sought commitment from some of our sponsors to provide industry or professional work experience opportunities to enable recipients to develop on-site skills and knowledge, to enhance their degree.
